Feeling great after reviewing with this

This study guide had it all. I really only need the general class information, but I’ll keep it for the amateur extra class for later. This book doesn’t necessarily teach you everything about a Ham Radio, but it taught me what I needed to pass the exam. I know there are more comprehensive guides but I was able to study this in a couple of weeks and felt really comfortable taking the exam.

I was very disappointed and lost time waiting to receive this book to ...

The General License test is expired June 31st 2015 in this book and is of no value. I believe this book should be removed as it is selling as a complete and up to date book and it is not at least concerning the General tests! I was very disappointed and lost time waiting to receive this book to find this out. It took many days of phone calls to find out from the Publisher that the General portion was in fact expired. No one has yet taken any actions to correct this error and still being sold with no notification to buyers that the General portion of this book is indeed no longer valid for the existing testing sights for the General License.

Strictly a study guide, and an excellent one.

This book is exactly what it says it is, no more and no less. If you want to study to pass the test this book is excellent. It doesn't teach you much background or context, it just works you on the specific facts you need to pass the test.
If you want to further your basic knowledge of radio physics and operations this is not the book for you. If you want to take and pass the Amateur Radio license test, this is an excellent choice.
