About the Author
David Eugene Ray spent most of his life rambling, including a stint in the U.S. Navy and years playing music and Ultimate Frisbee. He has been a school teacher and an educator of the life aquatic. He lives in New Orleans. Santiago Germano is a technical digital animator, who studied illustration techniques and character design. He works in games, movies, short films, television series, and children’s books. He lives in Montevideo, Uruguay.

What a great read to share with a young person

What a great read to share with a young person! The story is funny and engaging, the ending a great little twist with the perfect bit of suspense, and the illustrations throughout are nothing short of charming. Highly recommended for little folks who dream big, love animals, and are truly just learning to be themselves... and for the bigger folks that love them.

Every kid needs this book

Not only do I have one but I've bought it for other people! Such a sweet but thoughtful story that makes even the oldest kid (at heart) laugh! Highly highly recommend. Should be a mandatory book on every kid's shelf growing up.
