I tried to like this short story. J.Y. Klermaine obviously has talent. But the plot was just too shallow to hold my attention. This might be a good read for a grade schooler or mid school reader.

cute short story teaches a lesson in a short story

This is a very short story so I won’t go into much detail but Thomas is a Bard left an orphan. Thomas must learn several lessons before he grows up and learns his purpose of life. This is a short story that tells of the lessons Thomas has learned and must still learn to be the man his mom and grandmother meant him to be.
